The Bender Fender is the latest fender reincarnation: just slightly thicker at 0.3mm to be precise. You could consider it a ‘heavy duty’ model (at 22g), although it’s not exactly hefty. It’s thicker to improve durability, so it’s better at tackling a fall or those pesky pine cones when they get pulled through by the wheel. The Summer of Cycling is a national campaign running between March and October which aims to encourage more people to cycle.
