FreeGo: Raptor Urban Charger
The Raptor Urban Charger is FreeGo’s new electric commuter bike, designed squarely at getting from a-to-b in London traffic without pomp or circumstance. It’s motor is as powerful as any regular UK spec machine, the battery capable of around a dozen miles. Modeled on a fixie, the only real clue that it’s powered is the battery pack (which looks about as near to a water bottle as could be). A nice touch and far less conspicuous than most powered solutions. Plus, you can eject it and take it indoors with ease.
With many cycle-commutes in the 5-mile range, this bike enables such riders to leave the battery to charge daily, just like a phone & probably beside it! Need to go further? The upgrade includes two batteries. Range doubled, panic over.

What we particularly like about this bike is how neat an option it is for most Londoners. Both models are available on our ‘One-Click’ Cycle to Work Scheme too, with the stock model leaving £200.05 left over for a set of lights, mudguards and a decent lock. Smart.
