The Solex by Mobiky is a folding bike which has been just been brought to the UK in both electric and non-electric models! It’s industrial frame mechanism allows for such rapid folding that you’ll find yourself whipping it into miniature mode whenever and wherever possible. Gone are the days of dreading public transport: train door just opened? No problem, still plenty of time to fold-up & board!
Available in Black/Red (pictured), or Grey/Fawn (see main image at the top of this page).
With two colour options this is a simple, rugged and purposeful bike. Whilst it’s compact geometry is familiar to the fold-up market, it’s sturdy build ensures a more predictable ride than it’s 16″ wheels might suggest. Low-down battery and motor weight helps during cornering too, with the weight range from 17.8Kg it’s all down low for maximum stability.
Dimensions once folded:
• 250W Brushless motor inside the front wheel
• 24V/11Ah battery mounted lowdown, behind the cranks
• 3-speed Nexus hub inside the rear wheel
• LED headlamp powered from the main battery
