Sur-Ron’s LBX Dual Sport E Dirt Bike Series deliver more than 6,000 Watts of peak power with a top speed of over 45Mph. The lightweight forged aluminium frame houses a removable Lithium-ion battery pack with 176 Panasonic cells pushing out 60V 32A to the mid-mounted, air cooled motor. Models are available for both onroad or offroad use, with the appropriate specifications tweaked to comply with each environment.

Weighing-in at a highly flickable 47kg with an onboard sine-wave controller and regenerative-braking, 4 piston hydraulic brakes can rein in the power at all speeds. These now come with titanium finish calipers and sintered pads too. This paired with fast charging of 2.5-3.5 hours (per battery pack), will keep you riding far harder and for much longer than your body may be ready for.

Suspension duties are handled by DNM USD triples with 203mm of travel. The seat has been updated and is now wider, matched with higher and wider handlebars as well. The heavy duty Gold O Ring chain minimises maintenance and reduces noise too.

Peak efficiency is 98.50% and the onboard power management can be adjusted via the LCD dash between Eco and Sport modes. You can cover approximately 60 miles when riding at an average speed of 20Mph (depending upon rider weight, conditions, terrain, etc.). Onroad, Offroad and everything in-between

The Sur-Ron LBX Series build upon their heavy duty underpinnings with a selection of components fine-tuned for two key areas: Offroad and Onroad. The Offroad model is paired down to include just the essential parts to fly through the wilderness, hence they are not ‘homologated’ for Onroad use.

Meanwhile, the Onroad model comes complete with all the necessary bolt-ons to be street-legal, including the numberplate, mirrors and indicators. You can remove these for Offroad riding of course, however the format this model is assembled with follows the UK’s strict requirements for street use.
