The Sold Secure Gold rating is the minimum requirement by all reputable insurance companies, with the toughest versions earning the Diamond rating

The advantage of a two part system, is that you can wrap the D Lock and X Chain through/around both your bike and something solid, so you bike cannot be moved, or it’s wheels removed. For journeys when you don’t feel the need to carry a heavy chain with you, you can leave it behind and use the D-Lock by itself

The DX is the Hiplok D-Lock featuring their patented CLIP + RIDE system to clip over a bag/strap or your belt. There is an optional bracket to attached to a bottle mount too. 3 coded replaceable keys are included, making it easy to share amongst family members

The X and XL Locks have a large ring at the end, so you can wrap the chain through itself after looping it around a solid object. This helps when out and about, as you may find an iron railing set back from where your bikes is on it’s stand, so this formal means you can still reach it.

The D1000 and DX1000 and the very strongest D Locks. These are exceptionally tough, however they are also extremely heavy, so more suitable for a large family cargo bike left outside all the time than one to carry on a cheeky lap of the park
