Italian style comes in many forms and the Justlong from Bicicapace is a lowrider with a difference: it is as nippy as it is rigid, whilst keeping the weight down ensures your family and cargo are stable as you ride together.

The curvaceous frame flows between the massive bag up front which keeps school bags, shopping and laptops dry, with a combination of bench seats for up to three kiddos, two in dedicated seats, or one large box on the longtail. You can switch from one to the other as you require too, refining as your needs grow.

In the middle you can choose from a variety of Shimano STEPS motors/batteries and the standard manual option. Each one is pedal driven, so the ride feels very familiar from the start. There is also a hefty kickstand so you can park-up safely for loading and unloading.

The two frame options are the Classic and the Sport. The Classic is a ‘one size fits most’ step-through frame, suiting smaller riders and sharing between family members. The Sport has a step-over frame which comes in a 56cm, with the 64cm to suit taller riders.

Refinements include the Child Pack for wrapping around your offspring, which includes either Yepp Seat adapters or Cushions to match. This also includes the ‘running boards’ for their feet.

The wheelbase is surprisingly short considering the overall storage capacity available, which is down to the sturdy BMX-style wheels ensuring the maximum use of space all around. Pairing 2.15″ wide Schwalbe tyres with disk brakes means a comfortable ride with the stopping power of the brakes to match. The rims are painted to the colour of your frame too, which is a lovely touch.
