Looking for a bicycle which is ready for anything? The Sutra is certainly one to consider. The geometry is based on Kona’s CX, enhanced with a taller head tube and longer top tube, paired with Kona’s Project Two Cromoly Disc Touring fork. This offers great tyre clearance and limits toe overlap.

There are some neat finishing touches like a replaceable derailleur hanger on the rear, mudguard eyelets inside the seatstays, and external cable routing for both shifters … which are on the levers so you can remain focussed on the road ahead: this keeps things nice and neat, wherever you may roam. A Brooks B17 leather saddle is there for you too!

Triple water-bottle bosses on the inner triangle are boosted by a fourth on the underside, which is well protected from the elements by an extended front mudflap. There’s also Bento mounts up top. The new fork design has mounting points on the blades to make use of all the space you have up front, balancing the weight as it does and it includes the Tubus Tara Rack.

The Sutra frame features slightly heavier gauge tubing than Kona’s Rove, to provide a stiffer platform: great for pulling heavier loads, whether you’re carrying camping kit through the Cairngorms or computers to the office. Sweet ride!
